How to Request Account Deletion

At PicsDrop, we respect your privacy and give you full control over your personal data. You can request the deletion of your account and all associated data through either of the following methods:

Option 1: In-App Account Deletion (Instant)

1. Open the PicsDrop mobile app or web portal and log in to your account.
2. Go to Account Settings.
3. Scroll to the bottom and click on Delete Account.
4. Confirm the action to instantly delete your profile and wipe your uploaded data.

Option 2: Email Request (Processes within 48 Hours)

Send an email to support@picsdrop.in from your registered email address with the subject line "Account Deletion Request". Our support team will manually verify and process your request.

What Data is Deleted?

Upon deletion, the following data will be permanently purged from our servers:

  • Your profile details (Name, Email, Password hashes, and Phone number).
  • All uploaded galleries and event albums.
  • All original photos, thumbnails, and facial indexing vectors (Face Recognition data).
  • Your collaborative guest albums and linked access codes.

What Data is Retained?

For security, legal, and billing compliance, we are required to retain certain logs and billing receipts. This includes:

  • Razorpay payment invoices and purchase histories (for financial and tax auditing).
  • Anonymized diagnostic and crash reporting metrics.

None of this retained information can be used to re-identify you or access any of your previous photos.
